As we made our way towards Tower Bridge, the gloom slowly became damper, till as we tried to identify famous landmarks, the damp coalesced into drips, then drops which then progressively became thick stair-rods. This was NOT what we had ordered! Oilies plus Anoraks, then giant umbrellas as well, became imperative. We saw the construction site of the London Millennium Wheel.
