* Cecil served in the Haldiman/Dufferin Riffles & the 54th Field Regiment
*Artillery. He served as Regimental Bugler and was discharged for medical
*reasons from both regiments. He was very dissapointed to have missed
*shipping out with the 54th while awaiting discharge from Hamilton Hospital.
*The regiment soon distinguished itself in the failed Dieppe invasion attempt.
*Cecil passed away in April 1982 from suddden heart attack.
